I am a UK (Bristol) based artist, fascinated by 1950’s objects, with a passion for collecting multiples. I intuitively combine these relics with hand-crafted sculptures, to create a theatre of extraordinary and dreamlike visual poetry. I am influenced by the artists of the surrealist and Dada era, my love of flamenco dance, Gypsy culture and by the enigmatic found object.
I create art that rubs shoulders with the morbid while overloading the senses with bright, beautiful colours and surreal compositions. My work celebrates the beauty and energy of the relic or found object and I cut through this aesthetic with strong themes that investigate the intricacies of the human condition while invoking a sense of tragedy or comedy, or both.
I undertake individual commissions and one off pieces from my collections on this site are also for sale, depending on availability. Prices and commissions on appointment: Tel: +447745846308 or email me – lucie.pink@hotmail.com
